Wandering

I'm searching over this great wide earth
Through all the tales
Through all the mirth
I find a companion, we sit for a spell
We discuss the wonders of Heaven and Hell.
The day is late and the night is young
The sandman claims us
Over the fire we slump

We wake to the day
Brisk and new.
Sun on the horizon
illuminating the dew.
The air is crisp
The trails right
On our trek we begin
Our spirits high
Who knows why we travel beneath the infinite sky
Travel forever
Though we're destined to die.
We traveled awhile, till the end of our days.
Known unto others?
Hardly. Only a haze.

Now lost in space in cloudy strongholds
Life is fresh,
It's a new day for our souls.
